Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice that combines movement, breath control, and meditation to cultivate and balance the body’s vital energy, known as ‘qi’ or ‘chi.’ The word ‘qigong’ translates into ‘energy merit or work’ or ‘working with life-force energy.’ Qigong encompasses a wide range of exercises and techniques that aim to promote the flow of qi through the body’s energy channels or meridians which in turn strengthens the bodies energy field. These exercises may involve slow gentle movements, stretching, static postures, coordinated breathing patterns, visualization, and focused intention. Qigong is practiced for various purposes, including enhancing physical health, improving mental well-being, increasing energy levels, strengthening focus and promoting spiritual growth. Regular practice of qigong is believed to restore harmony and balance in the body, mind and spirit, strengthen the immune system, reduce stress, and enhance overall vitality. It is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels, making it accessible and beneficial for individuals seeking to improve their physical, mental, and energetic well-being.

Meditation is a practice that involves focusing the mind then entering a state of deep relaxation and heightened awareness. During your private somatic therapy sessions, you will work one-on-one with our trained therapist to explore and address patterns of tension, trauma, or discomfort stored within the body. Our therapist then utilizes a range of somatic techniques, such as body awareness, breath-work, gentle movement, and touch, to facilitate the release and regulation of nervous system responses. These sessions provide a safe and confidential space for individuals to deepen their self-awareness, process emotions, and cultivate resilience. Private somatic therapy promotes healing, restores balance, and empowers individuals to live more embodied and fulfilling lives.

Mindfulness coaching is a supportive and empowering process that helps individuals cultivate mindfulness in their daily lives. In mindfulness coaching sessions, our trained coach provides guidance and tools to develop and deepen one’s mindfulness practice. Our coach helps you to cultivate present-moment awareness, non-judgmental observation, and self-compassion. Through discussions, exercises, and reflections, mindfulness we assist you in integrating mindfulness into various aspects of life, including relationships, work, and self-care. The coach offers accountability, support, and customized strategies to navigate challenges and enhance well-being. Mindfulness coaching fosters personal growth, stress reduction, improved focus, and a greater sense of inner peace and fulfillment.

Our food is prepared in a way that prioritizes whole, unprocessed goodness to support optimal health and well-being. We choose nutrient-dense foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats while minimizing or avoiding processed foods, added sugars, and unhealthy fats. A nourishing diet provides essential vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber that promote vitality, support a strong immune system, and maintain a healthy weight. It emphasizes balance, variety, and mindful eating, allowing you to fuel your body with wholesome, nourishing foods that contribute to overall physical and mental wellness.

Somatic Experiencing (SE) therapy is a holistic approach to healing trauma and restoring resilience within the body. Based on the understanding that trauma is stored in the nervous system, SE focuses on accessing and releasing the physiological and psychological impacts of traumatic experiences. Through gentle guidance and attention to bodily sensations, SE helps individuals reconnect with their innate ability to self-regulate and heal. Our therapists support you in tracking sensations, facilitating the completion of incomplete trauma responses, whilst you gain a felt sense of safety and empowerment. Somatic Experiencing can lead to increased self-awareness, reduced anxiety, improved emotional regulation, and a greater capacity for resilience and well-being.
